Run a 2AM race through the streets of New York
The bread route races are a series of checkpoint driven, 2AM races inspired by the founder of Orchard Street Runners’ family’s old route delivering bread throughout the city. This race went through midtown, and included checkpoints throughout Times Square before ending in the Lower East Side. Such an exhilarating experience and a peak one if you love running and New York.
$300 prize pool for 1st place winners! Bragging rights for all (there were ~120 runners)
After, the group goes to a 24 hour diner. There are usually 2-3 photographers that share photos as well. Photo credit: samueltrimble
