The Alamo in downtown brooklyn (manhattan too) is a great trip to the movies and a night out all in one. There’s a bar to visit before or after your movie with lots of curiosities to look at. If you go in Tuesdays tickets are half price, only $9, great for a cheap night out or a movie you’re not too sure about. There’s also food and drink you can order from your seat, no concession stand. A personal favorite is the $10 bottomless popcorn. There’s plenty of food and drink to order from your seat and you don’t even have to ask for check, they’ll bring it near the end of the movie. Definitely worth the visit, much better than a regular movie theater.
