I secured a ticket to the Squid Games: The Challenge Finale Watch Party, hosted by Netflix, and the entire experience was mind-blowing. Having binge-watched all the episodes with my family, witnessing the finale in person exceeded my expectations. I barely knew what to expect at my first watch party, but I was excited find out. Within the ticket details, we were told to dress as we were going to a fancy dinner and to dress warm for check-in. Enduring the cold for over an hour was not the most pleasant, so I could not wait to enter the venue. Inside, cast members were being professionally photographed amidst flashing lights. Red soldiers were everywhere and volunteers offered dalgona cookies, staying true to the Squid Game theme. Although I missed out on the cookies, I savored a non-alcoholic drink called "The Circle of Trust,” inspired by a game from the show! The highlight was meeting cast members, including favorites like Mai, Trey, and Phil. The winner of the $4.56 million prize, unknown even to most cast members, was to be announced as we watched the finale. It was filled with a mix of emotions, and we celebrated the winner surrounded by confetti. Despite the initial line wait, the night turned into an unforgettable experience.
