Alright obvi nothing in NYC is actually free free so here’s the kicker, it’s free skating if you bring your own ice skates! I did the girl math, skate rentals range from 30-55$ an hour depending on when you go ( it’s cheaper in the morning and more exp in the afternoon- evening) . Soooo I went on amazon and bought my own pair of skates for 65$ lol. So now it’s actually free. You’re not allowed to have your phone out ( safety reasons ) so I got yelled at for taking this vid. It’s such a beautiful place to skate and it wasn’t that packed. you get to see the tree and the buildings that surround it. love the holidays in nyc and this is definitely putting me in the holiday spirit ✨
