Coin Karaoke at Food Gallery 32 is a Karaoke place that is private, cheap, fun, and has no age restrictions. For months my roommate and I were looking for karaoke places that weren’t twenty-one plus (because it seems like ALL the ones in New York are only twenty-one plus) and we had no luck. We called a bunch of places and all but there was no luck. It wasn’t until we had a night out with our friends at Food Gallery 32 in Korea Town where we saw a bunch of rooms on the second floor and got curious. So, we checked it out to see what it was and thankfully enough, they were karaoke rooms. We were all so excited and decided to go into one of the three rooms too see if they had songs we were looking for and how much it was. The karaoke was only $10 and they had just about all the songs we wanted on their TV. We were all so excited to be able to do karaoke together since it’s been something on our list of things to do as a group but none of us are twenty-one. We sang our hearts out for at least an hour and a half singing all the songs on our karaoke bucket list (which consisted of a lottt of k-pop but there’s english songs too) before we had to leave. It was one of the most memorable nights we had in New York together and we definitely plan on going back soon.
