Strolling through Chinatown yesterday, I passed by a market selling a box of strawberries for 99¢!!
Anyone who’s been in nyc for 3.5 minutes knows how expensive food, especially fresh produce, can be in this city!
In addition to the strawberry deal, they also had 89¢ Sunkist oranges, $2.99 blueberries (bigger than the standard size) and an incredible selection of herbs and greens.
This store also sells all different kinds of Asian products and delicacies, but the price of fruit really blew my mind.
On the same street, I also bought a bunch of asparagus for $1!
Chinatown, and especially Fresh Market on Mott St, is the place to go for affordable produce 🥦 🫛🥬🍓
