Went to Sunny City Beauty Salon in Chinatown today for a haircut and highlights. I have never gotten my hair styles professionally before in NYC (way too expensive), but this was so worth it. The full service came out to $170 before tip, and the color came out perfect and so summery!
Know before you go: The stylists speak primarily Mandarin/Canto, but they can also speak some English. There’s no website that I’m aware of so you’ll just have to call their phone number (646-386-8898) to make a reservation! They can get pretty busy so I’d recommend calling a week ahead. Lastly, the facilities are very no-frills, but that’s probably also why they can keep services affordable....More
