Yesterday, I had an incredible time at the #ShoppeBlack Event hosted by Transform the Hustle at the Shopify headquarters. It was so cool to explore the mini marketplace that featured several black-owned businesses, making it easier for me to achieve my black-owned purchases for July. Each of the business owners had incredible, inspirational stories.
I also enjoyed the panel hosted by two incredible black women, a lawyer and a Creative Director. They shared gems on how to build and protect your personal brand.
From “Shot o’clock,” which provided professional yet fly headshots, to a game night, the event was by far one of the best networking events I’ve attended.
