We’re a duo running a small supper club out of our Brooklyn apartment! Our curated menus normally consists of 3-4 courses and we draw a lot of our inspiration from the restaurants we’ve eaten at as well as our cultures (Vietnamese and Filipino).
This initially started as something fun we did for our friends but after a lot of positive feedback, we decided to expand beyond our friend groups. We’ve opened up the Friends + Food: Supper Clubs to the community that we built on our Instagram and TikTok and have gotten an overwhelming support for this experience! My name is Angel and I am the secret 1/2 of by.dust. I mainly work on the sweets, desserts, and anything that is baked. We take inspiration from foods that we’ve tried at restaurants and add in that “not too sweet” element.
I am a full time yapper so during the supper clubs I tend to be the acting host while assisting Dustin with plating and serving. I also am in charge of documenting/ taking film photos.
We really hope to expand our supper club experiences and maybe in the near future host a bake sale to share our dessert creations!...More

Went to the Friends + Food Supper Club earlier this year and have not stopped thinking about the meal since (that shrimp 🤤). Space for the supper is so cozy, it’s easy to chat and just have a good time while the dishes are coming out.
The menu & drinks are thoughtfully prepared and unlike a regular restaurant, you actually get to talk to the chefs and ask them questions!
Can’t wait for next time and hope more people try out this gem ☺️...More

I’m Dustin and I am 1/2 of by.dust! I handle mainly the savory dishes at the supper clubs so you’ll see me plating and cooking it up in the kitchen. The ideas for many of the dishes come from me thinking I can improve on the ones we’ve tried from restaurants.
I think one of the long term goals for this project is to hopefully have larger pop up at venues other than our apartment. I would love to be able to have a space where both our friends and the community we’ve been building can mesh as a whole and experience the food we make!...More

Had the pleasure to attend a supper club hosted by friends plus food brooklyn!!
It’s a very intimate space with absolutely stunning food. Dustin and Angel are 2 Brooklyn based home chefs who use their diverse backgrounds to create delicious and thoughtful meals. Not only were the main entrees great, the dessert was just as amazing. Can’t wait to attend the next supper club!...More
