This Central Park cookbook club organizes monthly picnics, in Central Park when the weather is good and in a covered space during the winter. Each one selects a cookbook and participants make a recipe from the cookbook and share! It was amazing meeting people who love cooking, baking and eating as much as I do!
This one featured Preppy Kitchen Super Easy and they raffled the book at the end. I signed up last minute and made banana bread since I already had the ingredients at home, but people made some really impressive dishes like ceviche, seafood boil, breakfast burritos and more.

This was my third Cookbook Club, but my first time joining the famous Stephanie’s Cookbook Club event! Basically, everyone picks a dish from the same cookbook and brings it to share. This time, the cookbook was Salt, Sugar, MSG—and wow, every single dish was SO good. The author even came by and made his famous Fish Mix Snack, which made it such a special experience. I got to taste more than 30 dishes, met new friends, and left so full in both the heart and stomach!Definitely doing this again!...More
