My journey into craft beer began when I realized that the supermarket varieties were just not going to cut it for me anymore. The largest difference is that craft beer uses high quality ingredients and the breweries ensure they are sold fresh, not stale.
With that said, Alewife Brewery in Sunnyside Queens holds a beer share Wednesday nights at 7pm for like minded craft beer enthusiasts. Everyone is welcome!
The concept is every person would bring a beer they acquired from a brewery (domestically or internationally) and shares it with the group. In return everyone else shares their other exclusive brews and we all get a chance to taste different craft beers without overimbibing. There is no cost but you’re encouraged to get drafts if you like.

Sometimes you need some extra motivation to start your workout grind and for me that inspiration came from baby goats prancing around me through a yoga class.
For $30, which is the price of a regular yoga class, I was able to get a one hour yoga session with baby goats walking around me! The price of the ticket also came with one free beer at the end of the class!
The handlers were attentive and made sure to toss food pellets around the room to make sure the baby goats made their way around I each attendee.
At the end of it, a DJ began mixing tunes for the baby goat afterparty.
