I arrived 12:45pm today for day 1 of the Sephora & Glow Recipe popup. The line was already wrapped around 3 street corners at that point.
They hand you a “passport” to stamp, but you don’t get anything if you complete it.
They give you a cute tote bag and passport a little bit before you enter and the $20 Sephora gift card upon entry.
There are 6 sections once you’re in:
FRONT
1️⃣ Glow Kit (left side) - This is top priority IMO. You get:
💋 Choice of pink or purple makeup bag
💋 Choice of Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser or Avocado Ceramide Moisture Barrier Cleanser
💋 Choice of Watermrlon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner or Cloudberry Bright Essence Toner
💋 Guava Vitamin C Eye Cream
💋 Choice of Strawberry Smooth Salicylic Serum or Blackberry Retinol Blemish Serum
💋 Choice of Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Oil-Free Cleanser or Plum Pump Hyaluronic Cream
💋 Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops
2️⃣ 10 Years of Glow (right side): Pass the giant Sephora gift bag photo op and get on line. You’ll get 2 tokens.
💋 One token is for the Watermelon Glow Hydrating & Soothing Jelly Sheet Mask (retail: $8)
💋 There is a bell you can ring to get sprayed with I think one of their few drop serums
💋 The other token is for the Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Serum. I can’t say the retail $ because someone pumps into the bottle for you.
OUT OF CHARACTERS - I’ll see if I can type the rest in comments.
FYI:
💋 A person I met later told me she arrived 1:30pm and capacity cut off shortly after her.
💋 I waited 3.5 hours. I would not have gone if I knew that, but I was already there and made new friends on line!
💋 Prioritize what you want to do once you’re in. They only give you ~20 minutes. I understand it’s for line control but the ratio of wait time to reward is…slightly frustrating.
🌟 If you miss the event—it looks like they’re selling the Glow Kit (refer to 1️⃣ above) at Sephora for $38–the Glow Recipe Fruit Babies Bestseller Minis Kit....More

In my opinion, this event was definitely one of the most chaotic pop ups I’ve ever attended. I went during the first day around 1:30 (i.e. 30 minutes after the actual pop-up began), and was immediately told that the line was closed and I should come back an hour later. I came back an hour later, and was told to come back at 4. The security guards kept pushing back the time each time I came back, and around 5 pm, they finally said it’s unlikely we’ll be allowed in. It was extremely upsetting wasting all that time for nothing.
I went back the second day as I’d rather get something from the pop up rather than nothing and was glad to see they changed some things. I arrived early this time and got a wristband to enter for half an hour at 5 pm. Once I entered, I only spent around 10 minutes inside but I am happy with the things they gave (which were a $20 Sephora gift card, niacinamide dew drops, and a personalized skincare routine). However, for the personalized skincare routine, one of the people with me did not get to choose what she wanted as the employee at the pop up simply chose everything for her so there’s that.
Overall, there is so much to say about this event and I do hope that if glow recipe chooses to do future pop ups in NYC, they are able to learn from this experience and hopefully improve future events....More

#glow night market event was the best. Wrist bands handed out for time slots. It was an easy process! All pop ups should be conducted like this to avoid standing in the line for hours...More

I had a fun time here at SOHO Night Market!! It was worth standing for 3 hours outside. When you first get in, they will ask for your favorite paper to stamp it to enter. Then you will be on a line where you wait to get your free skincare goodies and they ask about your skin type. After they have snacks, photo booths, Sephora purchases inside. Oh yes you also get a $20 gift card Sephora x Glow Recipe! I got to meet these two wonderful girls as well so happy!...More
