So I came to the nami matcha pop up (urmomashley’s new matcha brand) since I’m a big matcha fan and I was genuinely curious if her matcha legitimately good or if it’s another one of those influencer brands.
Aside from the longest wait of my life (I got there 15 minutes after they opened and the line was already half a block and I waited 2 hours), the matcha itself was really good! It’s definitely on the milder side but I love how clean it tastes, especially sweetened with maple syrup.
I’m definitely ordering her matcha after trying this out! The popup itself was just a long, long wait but at least Ashley came out to say hi.
TLDR: the matcha’s a yes, but it’s a no for the wait time (2+++ hours) ...More
