This year, I went to my first ever Global Citizen. Iβve never heard of this event until a few months ago and when I found out Post Malone and Doja Cat were going to be there, I instantly wanted to go!
I got my tickets for free for taking actions on the global citizen app and using my points from my actions to enter to receive free tickets to global citizen. Luckily, I won during the first round! I do like that you can get free tickets by doing good for the world that can help fight against issues such as poverty, climate change, and much more.
Only thing that sucked was that it was raining the whole day and my boyfriend and I got soaked but if we do go again next year and itβs raining again, weβll have ponchos for that time around.
This year Post Malone, Doja Cat, Lisa (from BlackPink), Rauw Alejandro, Raye, JellyRoll Benson Boone and Alok all performed and we even got a surprise performance from Ed Sheeran and Chris Martin (from Coldplay)!
If you do decide you want to go next year, I would recommend to download the global citizen app and start taking action so that you can save up your points for next year when they start doing the raffle for 2025βs festival. Also if you do go, please have a backup charger and a poncho (for if it rains). Also you need to print out your tickets or you wonβt be allowed in!
But overall for my boyfriend and I, we had a blast and would do it again....More
