A favorite trail to walk my dog on the weekend. The Barnegat Branch Trail is a mix of nature and history. On October 15, 2007 the BBT was officially opened to the public. This “rail-to-trail” project follows the abandoned Barnegat Branch Division of the Central Railroad of New Jersey.
