My trip /experience to a vampire diaries convention. It was awesome! This vampire diaries convention was hosted by epic! And it was amazing and well organized. The panels between the vampire diaries/originals/legacies cast was great! I got to vibe with some of the actors! And everyone is super nice💕. This convention was hosted in Covington GA, where the show was originally filmed and it still holds some of the original pieces and houses. Here Elena’s, Caroline, and the mystic grill can be found here along with so much more!!! The stores have plenty of merchandise pertaining to the show and you can even tour the houses as well as eat at the mystic grill! There’s vampire themed stuff everywhere along with special events like watching the show at the park near the clock tower!! And touring other filming locations seen in the show. ...More

LEGIT southern bbq in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria. Opened just last year in a massive space, this restaurant serves up delicious bbq and southern classics, as well as standard bar fair.
They have a full bar with tv’s showing sporting events, multiple dining rooms, and even an area with free digital arcade games!
Please give them a visit, they recently rebranded and would really appreciate the business....More
