This is such a great find for those of you looking for authentic kuihs (our version of pastries) and iconic Singaporean and Malaysian dishes such as chicken rice and laksa and my ever favourite - chendol!!!
The owner chef is from Penang, Malaysia and she does everything homemade. The shop is only open Fri-Sun and the menu rotates so be sure to check out the IG @ kuihcafe beforehand for the latest items....More

okay the fact that i forgot to take a picture until mid-meal should show how much i enjoy the food here!!!! it’s an extremely mom-and-pop type shop that posts a rotating menu on instagram each week (only open fri-sun) - my favorite savory dish I keep on the lookout for is the salted duck yolk butter chicken pictured here that is maybe one of the best bites of food I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. i also ordered mooncakes from them for the mid-autumn festival (2nd and 3rd pics) and each order is completely handmade & packaged beautifully—I think they might still be taking special orders for lunar new years right now which would be worth checking out!!!...More
