โญ๏ธ So excited for my 1st ever in-person Sโmore event!
The 90-min DIY Spring Wreath Workshop was a small & intimate group of 6 people. Definitely a welcoming & cozy space at the art studio with a giant, vibrant mural by Jason Naylor in the background. There was even a little kitchen area in the front. The vibes reminded me of being inside someoneโs cottage for tea.
The hosts were super friendly + attentive + helpful + down-to-earth, making everyone feel comfy like we were right at home. All the attendees were easy to get along with as well. Never attended a wreath making class before, so it would be an interesting way to spend the evening. Plus, it felt more memorable & more meaningful pairing up with my friend @Jessica for the event.
The hosts would guide us step-by-step and help everyone along the way with the wreath-making process. The whole learning experience was very interactive indeed from start to finish. We all went with a different color scheme for our flowers. Everyoneโs wreath turned out to be a masterpiece in the end!

Bond Craft Studio on Bond Street in Brooklyn is an absolute gem for both kids and adults! I had such a wonderful time making my spring wreath there. The space itself has a fantastic vibe, with a gorgeous purple aesthetic that immediately caught my eye, so I decided to lean into it for my wreath design. It was so much fun to be paired with my friend @Lonnie K. for this experience, making it even more memorable.
The instructors were friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through each step with ease. I highly recommend this craft lesson and experience to anyone looking for a creative and enjoyable activity. had the sweetest time arranging my own wreath with faux tulips! ๐ท I'm glad they weren't real so I can reuse this every year ๐ซถ
The owner had everything we needed and nurtured such a kind atmosphere (you can hear it in the background audio)! You could tell she was made to be a teacher and even had a ribbon making tool just in case โ this was truly a beginner-friendly class! Everyone there was so nice and supportive of each other as well. She even provided water or La Croix (i love sparkling water).
Overall, highly recommend the wreath making. She even does crochet classes and is open to other crafting suggestions!...More

Looking for a creative de-stressing activity? Try candle painting! You get two candles, and although I didnโt have enough time to paint my second one, Christina, the instructor, allowed me to take one paintbrush and the rest of the leftover paint I had to finish at home. If youโre in the area, give this a try!

Such an incredible space where you are transported to a world where kindness, diligence and creativity coexist in a perfect harmony. The host was gracious and kind. She made everything feel smooth and so embracing. She allowed us to choose as much as we needed to express ourselves in a safe environment.
If you are looking for a great activity to unwind and let your creativity flow freely this is the place.
Will definitely recommend and be back!!
