Nuar is a new spot up on 27th street that specializes in Thai Tea and desserts, and I loved my experience there! The employees were super nice about checking what toppings had gluten in them, though sadly only the toasted coconut was gf! The pandan ice cream was delicious though, so I would have loved it even without toppings!
The oat milk Thai tea latte was amazing! Different than most Thai teas I’ve had in NY, it was thicker and had a robust black tea flavor. Definitely less sweet than most too, which I loved.
The space of the store is small but there’s a pretty green space right next to it which will be perfect for warm days and catching up with friends! Definitely recommend checking it out!...More

After again being influence by social media, I came across a video for Thai tea at Nuar and went to check it out - it opened recently in the Nomad area and has a selection of Thai teas and Kaya toast to choose from! I got the hot signature Thai teas latte and also tried the ice version of it and both were absolutely delicious - the flavor was so rich and not overpoweringly sweet at all! There was a nice balance between the tea and milk in my drink and would highly recommend to any tea lovers. I wish I had tried the Kaya toast or the ice cream sandwich because it looked delicious but this just means I have to visit again :) There’s also a beautiful outdoor area with lots of seating and shaded space to sit in and have your food so a great spot of mingle and enjoy the weather!...More
