I had to share this because I still can’t believe it happened!! Joe Jonas announced on Instagram that he was doing this super intimate concert for his new album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, and tickets were only $25. I couldn’t believe it. I jumped at the chance and somehow, seriously, I got super lucky— I got tickets.
What I didn’t know at the time was that they had only released a very limited number of tickets. It was at the Bowery Ballroom, but it wasn’t the typical concert setup at all. They had completely reconfigured the space. Joe wasn’t up on a stage, he was literally in the middle of the room, with everyone sitting around in a cozy circle. I was sitting so close to him I couldn’t even believe it!!
Not only was Joe there, but so were Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, and Franklin Jonas – and a bunch of guest artists who had worked on the album. Joe played all the new songs, and it was just so cozy and chill. Then Nick and Kevin got up and joined him, and they sang a few Jonas Brothers songs. Franklin Jonas also sang, I didn’t even realize how incredible he was until then, but his voice was amazing. He’s on Joe’s new album too, and I just loved everything they played!!
They did covers of older songs too, including some from Fleetwood Mac! It felt like we were all just sitting in a room, listening to music together, no big stage, no big production, just a real intimate concert.
This was probably one of the coolest concerts I’ve ever been to!! It just felt so special, and I’m so glad I was lucky enough to get tickets!! Social media – especially Instagram, really helped me find out about it, so if you’re a fan, definitely follow their accounts because you never know when these things pop up.
This was one of those nights I’ll be remembering for a long, long time. 🥹❤️...More
