I tried Vita Nostra Bakery Bistro in the southwest part of Sunrise, and have some mixed feelings about it.
The first thing I noticed about the fairly extensive menu was that there were no prices listed.
Service was very slow. Granted, it was a holiday, so maybe they only had two people working. It took an hour for our burger and sandwich thing to come out. The burger ($11.99) was a fairly good size.
I ordered a ham & tomato sandwich thing that reminded me of a triple, but I’m not certain enough to say that’s what it was. It was a good snack, though with a 1 hot wait I also could’ve gone for a snack as I waited for it.
The total was about $26 for a pecan pie slice, a burger with fries, and my sandwich thing.
I might try Vita Nostra Bakery again, but only as a grab-and-go situation.
If you’re in the area and you like Peruvian food, I recommend Embarcadero 41 located less than a mile away from Vita Nostra Bakery.
