We bought the tickets online for $10, there were plenty of tickets, so you don’t have to worry about them running out and if you can’t make it on the date you purchased them for, you can still use it for any day as long as it’s in the same season.
When we got there, they gave us bright orange wristbands and because it looked like we were going to take some nice pictures, they told us we can put the wristband on our bag instead of wearing it which was nice. They had a bunch of activities like rolling in a huge barrel, petting farm animals, etc. For the sunflowers, your admission ticket lets you cut one sunflower. If you want more, there are two different size buckets they offer that you can fill as much as you want. We took the $5 bucket. There were a few people already in the sunflower field. There were rows that were dead or sparse because people had already taken from those rows, so we had to go all the way in the back to get our sunflowers. The field is made of entirely dirt, so keep that in mind when going. We went when it had rained, so it was muddy. Overall, we cut a decent amount of sunflowers and it was a great experience!...More
