I made my way to Universal Orlando's newest theme park, Epic Universe, where you can enter different worlds and immerse yourself into iconic movie universes. While this park is on the smaller side, it may take 2 days to get to all the rides and attractions. Wait times were very high!
💫 Entering thru Celestial Park, the Stardust Racers ride was truly incredible, as it went upside down and corkscrewed. The wait is decent, since there's 2 coasters going on simultaneously. There's free lockers that use your face to store your small belongings while you're on the ride.
🐉Isle of Berk is based on the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, which was really cool to look at. I didn't get to experience the rides, but they looked decent. I mostly came here to meet the viral Hiccup and Toothless characters. The wait was 110 minutes, and meeting Hiccup is not guaranteed, as it's technically a meet and greet with "Toothless and Friends." Others like the twins and Astrid can be found throughout the area for photo-ops.
🐢Nintendo Land was very cute, but there's like no shade or places to sit. The sun hit the area and made it so bright that it was hurting my eyes highkey. The slow-moving Yoshi ride was cute, and the mine cart coaster was really fun. I tried the apple melon smoothie and it was pretty good. The dairy-free green shell calzone was not great, very doughy. The activations honestly didn't seem worth buying the band, but great for kids.
🧛🏻Dark Universe was very cool, as it had Dracula, Frankenstein, and other otherworldly characters to represent it. The coaster seemed really fun as it spins while going really wild and fast. If you're into horror films, this is the place to be!
🪄Harry Potter world here was a nice, Paris-themed area with lots to see. The coaster here was partly motion-simulated with a long wait. It was fun, not sure it was worth the wait though.
Overall, this park was okay. The food was meh and the rides were alright. Loved Hiccup tho!...More
