I’m ready to toss the dough a Tree House in Chicago for their Pizza-Making and Wine Experience! It is so much fun to create your own pizza, while discovering new wines. This is the perfect date night. It’s like going to school but the school is cool.
Executive Chef Marco brings a fun vibe as he teaches the group how to make Neapolitan-style pizzas. He walked us how to take our dough balls to a flat crust. We then had a great selection of toppings to choose from before cooking it in the wood fired oven. There was fresh basil, oregano, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, Buffalo mozzarella, giardinera, sun-dried tomatoes, anchovies, & grated cheese along with chef’s homemade pizza sauce.
It was a magical pizza class. It was fun to see everyone’s creations. My pizza was topped with fresh oregano, grated cheese, pepperoni, sausage, giardinera, & mozzarella. It was a masterpiece! Once we pulled it from the oven I finished it with olive oil, fresh hand ripped basil, & more grated cheese. It was the perfect slice! I’m ready for a new career as a pizza maker....More
