Such an awesome piano bar speakeasy vibe in the city. The waitresses accompanied the pianist throughout the night to sing a bunch of jazzy tunes. $10 pp cover for music and a $25 minimum spend which was easy to achieve as most cocktails are about $18+ pp, but sooo delicious and worth it! We tried the deviled eggs and burrata, both amazing. Like having dinner and a show only much more intimate than other spots in NYC. Great for a girls night or date night. ...More

Bo Peep is one of those places that is sooo New York and showcases how interesting and talented people are here! Every night they have live music with a pianist and two seatings (5:30pm and 8:30pm). They have various hostesses, servers and bartenders sing, all with unique style and song choices. Food and drinks were also good because it is from the upstairs restaurant Ragtrader. They do charge an extra $10 per person for the music entertainment, but well worth it in my opinion. Come for a dinner and a show!...More

Often when I’ve found myself looking for a place to go in Midtown I’ve tried going to the Bopeep Cocktail and Highball store located below the Ragtrader. But, probably no thanks to tiktok, they are always full. For once I remembered to make a reservation a week ahead of time and was able to go after a broadway show! Their regular pianist is Skip Brevist and they have a rotating cast of vocalists that also act as your servers. Skip often calls up the best fitting vocalist for the song he’s playing and the whole thing is full of talent and entertainment. They have a huge drink list and you can also order food. I highly recommend their tuna tartare if you’re hungry and the Rosebud to drink. Worst case if you don’t get in, Ragtrader and Parlour Room are nearby and also great “normal” bars. https://www.ragtradernyc.com/bo-peep/ Menu: https://www.ragtradernyc.com/menus/bo-peep/ ...More

If you’ve lived here long enough, there’s a good chance you’ve made a stop at Bo Peep with friends or family, ready to introduce them to its one-of-a-kind magic. And if you haven’t? Consider this your official nudge. Picture this: servers who double as performers, belting out songs all night with voices so captivating, you forget you’re holding a cocktail. Each performance feels like a secret you’ve been let in on, hidden beneath the restaurant like a speakeasy for music lovers. Now, let’s talk logistics. There’s a music cover charge (around $10), and yes, the drinks lean on the pricier side. But every note, every sip, every moment—it’s worth it. It’s perfect for a group night out, but something about the intimate tables and dim lighting makes it feel just as magical for a date night. At Bo Peep, you don’t just go out—you step into a story, one unforgettable performance at a time....More

Guysssss. We had such a good time at Bo Peep. Bo Peep opens at 5:30 pm and has live music every night! Live music is from 6 PM - 8 PM and 9 PM - Late. We went to the earlier seating and had an amazing time. The live music was SO good - we loved singing along. We sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and I enjoyed the drink I got. The fine print - a per person music charge of $10 will be added to the bill for all guests. ...More
