My initial experience visiting the downtown ice-skating rink was fantastic. I believe it's a family-run venture, just an educated guess though. The young staff at the counter and the remaining employees were extremely cordial. I arrived quite late, nearing their closing hours, hence the ice was slightly rough. Nonetheless, there were no quarrels or injuries, which is all that counts. We eventually had to leave when our ankles started aching and it was time for dinner, but our overall experience was quite enjoyable. Everyone was courteous, including the professional skaters who amazed us with their skills. I eagerly anticipate a future visit.
Remember, if you're not a resident of Stuytown with valid ID, you'll need assistance from someone who can grant you access....More
