The Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades is like escaping to another world. The architecture, plants, and views are giving Italian Villa.
While it’s free, you have to book your tickets in advance, and weekends fill up pretty quick.

Ahhh the Californian sun hits different….
Tickets are free to these two museums! There’s “Getty Center”, there’s also “Getty Villa”. They are ~30min drive apart from each other. Tickets fill up quickly at the Getty Villa, so reserve sooner than later.
The former is a more modern museum and much bigger. The latter is more of an Italian villa with Greek/Roman/Etrurian artifacts, and much smaller.
This post here is “Getty Villa” 🏛️🏺. A few notes: signal here is bad, but the museum has WiFi. Parking is $20. They don’t allow tripods to be bought in, can store in their baggage room during your visit. ...More
