I visited Newport, Rhode Island as a weekend getaway from NYC. There are lots of historic mansions on the island, but I decided to check out the biggest and oldest one β The Breakers Mansion. I was in awe the moment I stepped inside. I literally felt like I was in a Lana Del Rey music video π There is so much beauty and grandeur in every detail of the mansion. There are 70 rooms inside, and as you walk across each room, you can uncover its history through audio via a downloaded app. I was obsessed with the huge lawn terrace with the view of the water π There are also so many gems you can find in the gift shop!
