⭐️ For the adventurous all-day shopper 📍 Yellow Green Farmers Market, Hollywood 👍 Dog-friendly space with over 600 vendor booths, including over 200 food and beverage stalls 👎 Pay $$ to park on gravel unless you bike to here, and there’s basically no air conditioning for this largely outdoor space https://shortlink.smore.city/qCCH ⭐️ For the farm-to-table shopper 📍 Southwest Ranches Farmers Market 👍 Strong focus on local and organic specialty items - grass-fed & grass-finished pasture-raised meats, wild caught seafood, raw milk & raw milk products, raw local honey, pasture-raised soy & corn free chicken eggs - and a coffee truck nextdoor 👎 Can get VERY busy during peak times, may run out of the items you came for, and basically no air conditioning https://shortlink.smore.city/uCCH ⭐️ For the shopper who is always hot 📍 Farmers Market @ Aventura Mall 👍 Dog-friendly with air conditioning and free parking, and is a great place to find small gifts or a nice snack 👎 Relatively small product variety & selection overall, and has less of a farmers market feel https://shortlink.smore.city/tCCH ⭐️ Honorable mentions I’ve tried 👉 Brothers Farmers Market, Sunrise 👉 Weekend farmers market @ Sawgrass Mills Mall, Sunrise Let me know which ones I’ve missed!...More

You can find a mix of traditional and non-traditional food at Southwest Ranches Farmers Market located in Broward County, Florida. They had farm fresh eggs, raw milks and yogurts, produce that looked way better than what I’ve seen at Publix, jams, jellies, wild caught seafood, meats including ground bison and bison steaks (yum), and paletas. All of their meat is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. I seriously don’t understand the whole raw milk thing, but they do have it here! I arrived early on a Saturday morning and they only had, like, five left in the fridge. By the time I was leaving, the market was getting busy. I find it interesting they also sell raw milk ice creams, including raw buffalo milk ice cream (pictured). It’s, like, $16.50 for a pint. I purchased a homemade key lime pie for like $19 made by Martha N Gary’s Key Lime Pies. Gary gave me a free sample, and it was delicious. I also stopped by a Yemeni coffee truck next door, Haute Coffee. My partner got some kind of hazelnut iced coffee. The coffee truck had the most delicious flavors, and the trendy pastries looked incredible. Perhaps next time we’ll try one of their Dalgonas (Korean sweet treats). I recommend this farmers market and would probably go again. Maybe not for raw milk, though. Be sure to save this for your next trip to south Florida. 💫...More

A dalgona is a sweet coffee. This drink is Korean in origin. My partner and I tried one from the Haute coffee truck in Southwest Ranches, Florida. We enjoyed it, but might stick to a different coffee next time because the total was around $10.50 and we didn’t think it was that special for what it cost. Haute coffee has lots of delicious options to choose from. Pastries, too. One thing that surprised us is this coffee truck opens at 8am, which is a full hour before the farmers market. Be sure to save this for your next visit to south Florida. 💫...More
