So we all know Smorgasburg but do you know SmorgasBAR? Downtown Jersey City gives you all the vibes, views and drinks. They have a bar that serves cocktails, wine, beer and more and then a couple places you can eat at that serve pizza or tacos. They have lots of tables and chairs that face the water. It is dog friendly as long as they’re on a leash, only thing is they don’t allow outside food or drink! They also have cornhole and other games to play for a super chill evening. Just 5 minutes by the Path from Fidi I was so surprised at how accessible the Jersey City Boardwalk was. Even much more than many parts of Brooklyn. I would definitely recommend Smorgasbar while there with music, comfortable seating with great views of the city and I also got to have some delicious Stone Baked Pizza. I had the vodka slice but there’s also other vendors there too selling items like tacos and burgers :) great spot to stop and enjoy a drink while taking a long stroll along the Jersey boardwalk! ...More
