I was excited to go to this Fenty Beauty x Shopify pop up as I’m a huge fan of the cosmetic line and religiously use the glosses every day (the ice one is my favorite). My friend and I waited over 2 hours to get in hoping for some freebies as advertised and an immersive experience but we got nothing in the end sadly. this weekend from friday 8/1 to sunday 8/3, playlab is hosting a korean beauty popup with various vendors selling kbeauty goodies! there was a large variety of products, from makeup to skincare, all included in the cute order menu you get upon arrival.
the vendors in the back offer some nice samples and freebies as well (usually only require social media follows or may require purchase.) downstairs, there’s a charm bar (accessible after purchase of the melixir lip products) where you can make cute bracelets/keychains! there’s also a fun digital photobooth with some props that make for a cute keepsake!
the popup is located at shopify (131 greene street in soho) and runs until 6pm! there were also free drinks (mocktails) available for guests. overall, it was fun being able to try samples and test products from some brands we haven’t heard of yet, the vendors were very information and put us onto some nice products! we went home with some goodies from round lab and molvany :-) definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
