Just tried out SEOUL SWEETS tonight, a place full of treats I’ve never heard of- and honestly, it was an adventure.
I got their Mugwort Einspänner, which sounded more like a spell from Harry Potter than a drink. Turns out, mugwort is a plant, and... it tastes good. Earthy, mellow, almost like a toasted tea vibe that I am always a fan. The Einspänner part was just okay though, we weren’t impressed.
We tried something called Joo-ak, which we thought was going to be a donut. Spoiler: it’s not. It’s a chewy, fried sticky rice ball. Sounded fun, but it was super oily, and we couldn’t even finish one.
BUT, I highly recommend the space. Especially the 2nd floor- spacious, cozy, and perfect for hanging out. It’s chill cafe with plenty of seating late at night, and def worth visiting just for the vibe alone....More
