I had a scary experience here. I started overheating. I was supposed to be eating lunch, but I was dehydrated and way too hot to have an appetite. Thankfully, an arctic exhibit was nearby with ample air conditioning. This place cooled me right down. It was glorious. I’m grateful I wasn’t sick for the entirety of the day.
I enjoyed the rollercoasters. There are eight, and I probably rode four. The lines weren’t nearly as long as the lines for Disney or Universal rides.
The Shamu and Friends show runs throughout almost the whole day. This is covered, but not air conditioned. If you sit up front, you will be splashed. There’s a pretty good variety of food at (/outside) the amphitheater for this.
There’s an air-conditioned aquarium with a lot of sea creatures. I took a photo of the eel because my mom hates them lol.
The night closed with a fireworks show - I think around 10:30ish.
My biggest recommendation is that you bring a fan - especially if you go in the summer! I don’t care if it’s an electric fan you put on your phone or a paper fan. Bring some kind of fan.
Also, bring a poncho in case it rains. It’s most likely to spontaneously rain in the afternoon. Buy a $2 poncho at your local Walmart so you don’t have to buy an expensive one in the park.
