Could be a fun short family or friends hike to see a waterfall on the boarder of MD and VA. I tracked under 2 miles roundtrip. There are more/longer trails you can take as well, check out the map in the parking lot for those routes. It’s a beautiful way to get into nature for a couple of hours and take some fun pictures! The trail is rocky, can be steep, and goes across moving water (not too far apart but can be slightly nerve wracking at first). I had an enjoyable day in Mclean....More
