As a Philly native the Schuylkill River is one of my favorite places to go as a kid. So much beautiful greenery along the river. One of the prettiest places you can spend a nice day at.
A lot of people know the trail, but there’s a park there too with a basketball court, a community garden, and two dog parks! I took the day to read 1984 with my partner there 💕💕💕
Saw so many families, group of friends, and solo people just enjoying the sunset and scenery. Perfect for a lil picnic and wine.
Also just a hop and a skipp away from 1-900 ice cream (but if you’re trying to skip the long line just go to Jeni’s nearby)...More
