📍Qahwah House, Westbury Long Island
Pros:
🖤Authentic Experience: The fact that Qahwah House sources their coffee beans from Yemen is a unique feature that adds an authentic touch. It’s a great way to experience Yemeni culture.
🖤Delicious Drinks and Desserts: The Tima frappé, Moroccan mint tea, and pistachio dream were standout items. The unique flavors and pistachio-dessert were a big hit.
🖤Affordability: The Moroccan tea ($10) is very shareable and offers good value, and the frappes are reasonably priced at $7.
🖤Friendly Staff: Despite the chaos, the staff was accommodating, helpful, and kind in resolving any issues. They helped us find seats right away.
🖤Exciting Location: The new Long Island location being across from the Cheesecake Factory and Dave & Busters makes it a great spot for a fun outing with friends or family.
Cons:
❤️Crowds: The location was overcrowded, making the experience a bit overstimulating. Waiting in line and the noise level might be overwhelming for some.
❤️Order Confusion: Due to the crowd and noise, there was an issue with the order, and extra items were added to the bill. It was resolved, but it added some inconvenience to the visit....More

This was such a cute place to sit and talk for hours! Honestly, I understand why my mom and her friends do this lolll
We got two types of chai—Yemeni and the Adeni (not sure if I spelt those right 🥹) but they were distinct in their own ways. We also got some snacks to have while we chitchatted.
Even though we went on a Monday night, it was so busy but honestly we were there for hours! Delicious drinks, delicious chai—10/10 would go back again!
There are also locations in the city as well, but this one just opened and my friends and I are so happy to have one near us.

Review for Qawah House, Woodbury
I recently visited Qawah House in Woodbury, and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy afternoon. The decor has a unique charm, blending traditional and modern elements that make you feel instantly at home.
Now, let's talk about the drinks! I tried their signature iced coffee and a delicious caramel latte, both of which were expertly crafted. The flavors were rich and balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness. The whipped cream topping added a delightful touch to the iced coffee, making it feel like a treat.
The pastries were equally impressive. I had a flaky croissant that paired wonderfully with my coffee. It was fresh and buttery, making it the perfect complement to my drinks.
Service was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive vibe of the place. I appreciated the staff's recommendations and their willingness to customize orders.
Overall, Qawah House is a gem in Woodbury for coffee lovers and anyone looking for a relaxing spot to unwind. I can't wait to return and try more of their offerings! Highly recommended!...More

📍Qahwah House , Westbury Long Island
I have always wanted to go to the Qahwah house location in Brooklyn but they finally opened a location in Long Island which I was super excited about. It is located right across the street from the complex that has cheesecake factory and dave and busters! Qahwah House is a Yemeni coffee shop serving different coffees, teas, and desserts and I was excited to try things from where coffee was first cultivated. They literally source their coffee beans from yemen. The spot was insanely crowded when we got there it was honestly a bit overstimulating. We had to wait in line for a bit to place our order but did end up finding some seats. I feel like it’s so loud that the person taking our order actually got the order wrong and charged us for extra items which we had to resolve but the staff were very nice and helpful about it I felt bad for them with how crowded and loud it was.
We got the tima drink in the form of a frappe , moroccan mint tea, and pistachio dream. The drinks were honestly amazing and had unique flavors and the dessert tasted like cheesecake I loved it. It is extremely affordable a small teapot is 10$ which is what we got for the moroccan tea and it was shareable for 3 people for multiple servings. The frappes were 7$ I believe. If you don’t like large crowds I don’t know how much I’d recommend but the drinks and food were amazing and I loved experiencing the Yemeni culture so I will be back once the hype dies down over the new location. ...More
