There is a new cafe at the Boathouse in Prospect Park and I almost don’t want to share it because it’s such a serene place to have a coffee!
There is a (dog-friendly!) counter on the side of the boathouse and tables and chairs set up along the water. I went just after 8am when they open and it was just about completely empty.
Their posted hours are inconsistent but they’re brand new so I think they’re just still figuring NY it out. Their menu says they have beer and wine, as well as food but I only got a cold brew.
Great place for a solo place to read or meet up with a friend for a drink, right in the middle of the park! ...More
