If you’re looking for a cozy, scenic escape with your little ones, Postcard Cabins is the perfect spot!
🏡 We stayed at one of their adorable cabins, and it was everything we hoped for—rustic charm with modern touches. The cabin was spotless, warm, and had all the comforts of home, including a kitchenette and plenty of space for our toddler to explore safely.
❄️ The surrounding scenery was straight out of a snow globe—perfect for a family walk or just relaxing by the firepit while soaking in the beauty of nature. My toddler loved playing in the snow right outside our door, and I loved how peaceful and private everything felt.
💡 The thoughtful little touches, like the complimentary hot cocoa and cozy blankets, made our stay feel extra special. It’s a perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and create beautiful memories together.

The Postcard Cabins are a must do! Located around an hour and a half from NYC, it's definitely the best escape from reality.
My partner at the time and I went for one night and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! It was a quiet night getaway filled with good eats and good vibes.
Everything you need to spend the night is provided for you, the only thing you need to bring is clothes and any food that you would want to eat (they also provide provisions for those who prefer to cook what they offer).
Definitely would be going back...More

This year, I decided to switch things up for my birthday! Instead of the usual party scene, I treated myself to a solo getaway at The Postcard Cabins in the dreamy Eastern Catskills. I hopped on a quick Amtrak ride up to Hudson, NY, and from there, a super friendly Uber driver (who also doubled as a local food guide) gave me the scoop on all the best nearby restaurants—just in case I felt like stepping out.
The weather decided to keep things moody and rainy, which meant no fireside lounging, but honestly? I didn’t mind one bit. The cozy cabin vibes and ridiculously comfy bed made it the perfect escape. I brought along some goodies to cook, including a homemade breakfast and my all-time fave: Rasta pasta.
One highlight? I made a campfire for the very first time! And yes, I absolutely roasted marshmallows and made some gooey s’mores—because what’s a cabin trip without them? I also carved out time for a mini birthday photoshoot because, why not?
All in all, it was peaceful, recharging, and just what I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back for a longer stay next time.
