I took the Untapped’s Greenwich Village Coffee Tour. I consider myself a coffee snob and avid coffee drinker. I learned so much on this tour about the history of coffee in the West Village and of small coffee shops opening.
The tour stops included:
1. Porto Nico
2. McNulty’s
3. Ad Hoc Coffee
4. Cafe Reggio
We got to try coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and chocolate covered coffee beans. My tour guide was John Desanto. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite coffee was from Cafe Reggio, Which is where the first cappuccino was made in NYC!
From January 21-Feb 9, try code MSW25 for 2-1 tickets for any of their tours. The coffee tour is only once a month at 11 am. You can also find the tour on giftory.com.

I LOVE this place. It’s my go-to coffee and there are locations all over the city. You can get the beans or a cup of coffee. The aroma alone is enough of a reason to stop in. It’s a dream. Note: they have organic options! And flavors!...More
