Last night, I watched the July 4th fireworks for the very first time, and it felt like something out of a movie. I found the perfect spot along the Hoboken waterfront—right across from Manhattan—and as the sun dipped behind the skyline, a soft breeze came off the Hudson.
When the first bursts lit up the sky, it was like the city held its breath. Colors bloomed over the water—reds, golds, blues—reflecting on the river and shimmering like confetti on the waves. The booms echoed off the buildings, and everyone around me was smiling, cheering, or just standing quietly, taking it all in.
I never realized fireworks could feel so magical. It wasn’t just about the celebration—it was that moment of being completely present, feeling the energy of a crowd and the beauty of a summer night.
Definitely a memory I’ll hold onto. ❤️🎇...More
