South Florida Guide
I walked around Rose G Price Park after work one day and really enjoyed it.
SUMMARY of Rose G Price Park in west Broward County:
Price park is GOOD for
🎾 Tennis
🚶♂️ Walking
👯♂️ Children
⚾️ Baseball and softball
🏀 Basketball if you’re okay with a cracked court
👛 My wallet (it’s free)
Price park is BAD for
🐶 Pets
🛹 Skateboarding
🛼 Rollerblading / Skating
🚴♂️ Biking
🎣 Fishing
I recommend visiting parks like this one because it’s such a nice serotonin boost to walk around outside and think about God’s creations. I definitely felt better when I left than when I came.
Rose G Price park has multiple tennis courts, a softball field or something, and walking trails. There’s a swimming pool, of which idk how/when one can use it. The park is a comfortable size. It claims to be 10 acres, though it feels a tad smaller than that to me.
There’s a sign that says animals aren’t allowed, but the internet says dogs are allowed. I did see someone walking their dog here. Idk, I’d be careful ‘cause the park is so close to the Everglades. 😅
This might be a decent spot for a short picnic. I saw small bugs on a bench and I’ve had had no flying insect encounters here.
If you’re looking for a church in the area, I recommend City Rev Church just a couple minutes away. ☺️ https://shortlink.smore.city/JUgI
