jones beach theater has concerts all summer long and it is such a great way to spend a whole day. first chilling at the beach and then heading over to the epitome of a summer vibe at the jones beach theater where u get to savor the view and listen to some great music. i went to go see maroon5 that day and it is definitely one for the books. soo good def go check it out but make sure u have a car cus it is so much easier to get around to the beach and the theater ...More

πΆπΈIβve lived in NYC for over six years but this past summer was the first time I finally made it out to Jones Beach for a concert and I canβt believe itβs taken so long!
π€π»π€π©βπ€I saw Avril Lavigne on tour with Sum 41 and it was such a fun nostalgic show! The amphitheater was packed and such a cool vibe with views of the water behind the stage! There was a lot of room outside the venue with tons of options for food and drinks (pricey, but what youβd expect for that type of venue).
πππThe only downside is transportation - my friends and I took the LIRR most of the way and took an Uber the last 15 mins to the venue since it isnβt walkable, but on the way home we tried to take the shuttle back to the train station and it took foreverrr and then eventually we still had to get a pricey Uber back. It took a few hours round trip, so only worth it for a good concert. ...More
