Congrats on Smore expanding to more cities!🌆 I'm dumping some of my best experiences in other cities to help build communities. Here is my first review on the board game cafes I've been to in SF😍
Next Level Board Game Cafe
$7 / person. The location is chef's kiss - right in dt Mountain View with lots of food spots around. And, there is a parking garage next door! The game selection is amazing, basically every popular game you can think of. But the space feels a bit cramped and noisy. Oh and there is a pretty decent sized, clean bathroom if that matters to you.
The Game Parlour
Also $7. You will need to find street 🅿️. The game selection isn't huge but if you are not super hardcore, you will still have plenty to enjoy! Book in advance on a weekend!
Victory Point Cafe
$12. And please make a reservation - tried walking in once and there were no open tables. TBH I haven't actually played there yet, but the space looked decent.
Game Kastle
I went to the Santa Clara location, but honestly I can't remember the price🥲 It's more of a board game store than a place to actually sit and play. Wouldn't really recommend it if you are just looking to hang out and game, since their playable selection is pretty limited!...More
