Today my boyfriend and I decided to go on our first ever group hike and we had such a wonderful time. New Pond Farm is located in Redding, CT, and they have such a beautiful property and host a variety of fun events. Today they hosted a group hike in their woods area, followed by animal encounters in their education center, and chocolate milk made right on their farm!🍫
The hike was a great opportunity to bundle up and get some much needed fresh air! There are several cool spots to stop and check out on the path we took, like their stick shelter structures and the breathtaking view at the top of the hill. After the walk, they invited us inside their education center to check out their animals and even pet one of our interest if we wanted to! They had bunnies, turtles, snakes, insects, and more. They also offered us chocolate milk made on site by their cows, and hot chocolate. Everyone was so friendly and we had a great time!
