New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. About an hour from Boston is this gorgeous garden. Tickets run about $20 per person and $8 per dog. Though I’d you are planning to go more than 3 times a year a membership which includes admission seems to be worth it. Inside and outside gardens included! After going once in a rainy spring day I can see the benefit of going to this garden at least once in every season. There were lots of photogenic spaces and areas to sit and relax. Clean facilities too. I’m looking forward to going back another day to take in more of the outside gardens. There is a gorgeous daffodil field that is predicted to reach peak bloom towards the end of April! I would recommend walking through all areas of the garden and wearing waterproof boots as the forest sections can be muddy. Limited accessibility for the outside gardens in particular. Lots of classes offered to members. Leave time to explore the two indoor sections without being rushed....More
