The Asian section of the Naples Botanical Garden is the Marcia and L. Bates Lea Asian Garden. It’s one of my favorite sections of Naples Botanical Garden. This area is described as being more jungle-like. It features a lot of ornamental plants including crotons, crepe myrtles, and palms. The replica water taxi stand provides ample shade next to a lotus pool. It is one of my favorite sections. I wore long sleeves because it was January, but you should dress for it to be very hot. Remember to bring sunscreen and water. Sunglasses would also be good. Adults can expect to pay $25 per person for admission to the whole botanical garden. I’d like to go to Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, FL one day so I can compare these two locations. I’ll be posting more things from the Naples Botanical Garden in the future, so stay tuned for more photos from around the garden. Be sure to save this for your next trip to south Florida. 💫...More

I had a great time at Naples Botanical Garden. I like the Miami Beach botanical garden more, but this garden is a cool spot if you’re in the area. It’s fairly popular – reportedly welcoming over 200,000 visitors each year. I like how Naples Botanical Garden is massive. I read it is 170 acres, which I think is largely the walking trail area. Adult tickets are $25/ea and you can expect to get several hours’ worth of walking, taking in the gardens’ natural beauty, taking a rest at a cafe, and checking out the expensive gift shop. I wore a sweater because it was a cold day in January. For most of the year, you should probably not do that lol. Bring sunscreen, water, and a small portable fan to be prepared for your mostly not-shaded adventure through the botanical garden. There are multiple sections in the botanical garden. One of them is the Asian section, which I made a post for. https://shortlink.smore.city/lHWH There is a cafe on-site with food options I think are fairly reasonably priced. That cafe has indoor seating and air conditioning. I didn’t eat food from it because I’d eaten a lot before, but it looked good. 😊 Be sure to save this for your next trip to south Florida. 💫 Also, check out the Naples board/collection on my profile for more things to explore in the area. @South Florida Guide ...More
