If you’re looking for a cozy, focused way to spend a winter afternoon, Muse Paintbar is the place to go! It’s right in Assembly Row, one of the best shopping and dining areas around. (Side note: I’ve met so many people in Boston who’ve never been to Assembly Row or even heard of it—how?! It’s such a hidden gem!)
Even as someone with zero painting skills, I had a great time. The instructors give a simple rundown on color mixing, and the paintings aren’t too difficult to follow. It’s surprisingly fun to see how a few basic colors can turn into something vibrant. You can follow the instructor’s template or get creative and add your own twist.
They offer group classes and even private events—this would be perfect for a birthday party or team bonding! Make sure to book in advance, and if you can, go for a midday session—it’s cheaper and less crowded....More

Check out museum paint bar in Somerville for a fun night of instructor led acrylic painting and drinks. The cocktails were tasty and quite cheap too! The instructors teach you some basic principles of applying acrylic painting to canvas and they lead you through a beautiful piece.
