NYC Restaurant Week is wrapping up, so @riceandshine and I made a last-minute lunch stop near the Sāmore office (West Village). At first, she wasnāt convincedāGoogle Maps ratings werenāt greatābut I forced her to go because, girl, you gotta try it yourself!!!!!
This turned out to be my best NYC Restaurant Week meal so far (and Iāve been to three places!). The $30 lunch special includes 2 courses + free bread, and hereās why itās worth it:
š½ BIG portionsāespecially the appetizer (the calamari fritti was huge and so good). The food is solidānothing mind-blowing, but great quality for the price.
⨠Chill lunch vibesāNot crowded, huge tables, great service. But I can already tell dinner here gets crazy. Come for lunch!
So if youāre still looking for a good deal, youāve got Friday & Sunday lunch to check it out (FYI, the Restaurant Week menu isnāt available for Saturday lunch).

Restaurant Week is all about trying new spots at a dealāso of course, the Sāmore team had to check it out. PLUS you can find all the restaurant info on S'more with the honest review!!! (Go to āActivityā tab and click āNYC Restaurant Weekā)

The only thing I want to say is $30 lunch for this portion is insane!!!! (and the quality is decent good!) I think the tip is coming here during weekday lunch so it wonāt be crowded and enjoy the vibe and food.
⨠@Jojo Z @ Vallata (Union Sq)
$45pp Dinner. Vallata was a cute date spot with amazing service āŗļø. The food was tasty, but a bit too saltyāespecially the bread and pasta. If youāre going, a pro tip: opt for a tomato-based pasta! š

Iris: "$30 lunch with Burrata & roasted peach? 100% worth it. But overall⦠not the best Restaurant Week deal out there. š§"
Peggy: "First time doing Restaurant Weekāhad a great time! Definitely check menus & ask around."
