South Florida Guide
Okay so I don’t entiiiiirely understand how this free operation works, so I’m gonna do my best to explain but I urge you to do your own research.
I went to Mad Arts in Dania Beach for free, and you can too until 2/23/25. It’s for their Ignite event. It sounds like there are two other locations - one in Hollywood and one in Fort Lauderdale - that have Ignite lights shows that start at dusk and they’re also free until 2/23/25.
I spent 90 minutes walking through the museum’s two stories of exhibitions. I didn’t read all of the signs but I skimmed several of them. A lot of the exhibits were interactive.
The biggest thing that surprised me about Mad Arts in Dania Beach is there were dozens of different exhibits. Regular admission is $25 ($20 for Florida residents). I was expecting this museum to be like Superblue in Miami, which I’ve been to three times and costs like $36/person and has under 10 exhibits.
Another thing that surprised me was to see an artist there at her exhibition. I think her name was Lauren and she was from London. I learned that during this 10 day period (2/14-2/23/25) for Ignite, some of the artists have been coming in to talk to the people at their art spaces. I thought that was awesome.
I would much more highly recommend Mad Arts than Superblue, especially for their base ticket price / value. Except I guess there were a bit fewer big Instagram-y places in Mad Arts compared to SuperBlue, which I personally don’t think is necessarily a bad thing.
Be sure to save this for your next trip to south Florida. 💫...More

If I am being quite honest, I don’t know how to feel about this museum. I saw an ad about it online and my friends and I felt very unsure of it. The best way I can describe the museum is AI. Many of arts projected were easily identified as AI and lacked a lot of creativity compared to traditional art. On top of that there was an event going on which wasn’t told to us online when we bought are tickets, therefore we could only experience the 2nd floor and not the first and we still payed full price ($22) Overall I was quite disappointed with my experience so I advise you to think twice about going to this museum. :/...More
