I tried the famous pistachio rose croissant from Librae Bakery! This place has been hyped up for a while for having one of the best croissants in NY and honestly I was blown away. Croissants aren’t usually my go to pastry as I prefer trying others instead but I wanted to give this place a go from all the good things I heard. Genuinely, this might be one of my favorite croissants I’ve tried in NY. It was so flaky and perfectly sweet that it was worth the mess it left behind. I didn’t get to try any of their drinks or other food because I was just going for what they’re known for but their other stuff looked tasty too!...More

Librae Bakery is a gem in the East Village. Their pastries are absolutely incredible, especially their croissants. I'm a huge fan of their chocolate halva croissant – it's the perfect combination of flaky, buttery pastry with a rich, nutty flavor. The space is cozy and inviting, and it's a great place to grab a coffee and a pastry to enjoy in the neighborhood....More
NY Memories
We went to Librae Bakery and Hani’s right by Astor Place for a little bakery tour. We were pleasantly surprised that at 9:30 on a Saturday the lines were not that long and we were able to get a table at both places!
At Librae bakery we tried to famous pistachio rose croissant, espresso chocolate croissant, and the halva croissant. The halva was my favorite! We spent around $45 here with 3 coffees.
At Hani’s we tried their cinnamon roll, which was good but honestly not my favorite in the city for the price.
We were going to visit more places but for 3 people, we made a mistake going too rich with the croissants the first stop. Enjoy!...More
